How to Soak Stamps - Getting Stamps off Paper

Place the stamps face down on paper towels, an old bath towel or newspaper. Put them in a single layer, without letting them touch.

Important: Make sure whatever you place the stamps on is not too colorful, such as the Sunday comics or a brightly colored towel. You don’t want the color to leach onto the stamp.
