Many collectors like to send their holiday cards out to a post office with a special Christmas or holiday cancel first to give them an extra touch of the season for their ultimate recipients. The Plymouth cancellation shows classic evergreens in the snow.
To obtain a cancel send your self stamped envelopes, under cover, to Postmaster, 236 Coolidge Memorial Drive, Plymouth, VT 05056-9998. Include a note making it clear that you are requesting the holiday cancel. You have until 30 days after the release of the cancel, which was Dec. 9, to obtain a copy for your collection or to decorate the envelopes of your cards with the holiday cancel.
