Martha Gellhorn (1908–1998) reported on the Spanish Civil War, World War II and the Vietnam War in a long ground-breaking career. In addition to writing numerous novels, her work appeared in Collier's, Atlantic Monthly and the Guardian. She was married to famed writer Ernest Hemingway, who became a rival war correspondent, after she had managed to successfully cross the Atlantic in a WWII hospital ship after he had failed. Part of the American Journalists Series to be released in June.
