John Hersey (1914–1993) a writer whose work appeared in Time, Life and The New Yorker, was most known for his work Hiroshima. The famed piece described what happened when the United States dropped an atomic bomb on the Japanese city. It has been acclaimed as the greatest work of journalism of the 20th century. Part of the American Journalists Series to be released in June.
