American Flag single, available in panes of 20, coils of 100 and 10,000, water-activated panes of 100, and water-activated coils of 100, 3,000, and 10,000. First class rate release date April 12, 2007. Forty-one cent rate release date August 2007.

This definitive stamp depicts an American flag, one of the most recognizable symbols in the western world. The design of the flag was adapted from a postcard in the collection of art director Richard Sheaff. The American Flag stamp will be reissued in August featuring the 41-cent rate.
