Oregon Centennial Stamp

To celebrate Oregon's 150th year in the Union, artist Gregory Manchess of Beaverton, OR sought to represent the experience of the state's Pacific coast beaches. Oregon is the 33rd state with a diverse economy including agriculture, hi-tech, fishing and other industries. Oregon is home to one national park, Crater Lake, the deepest lake in the United States which is the remnant of a volcanic eruption.
