Hi, John Finch, your Stamps Guide here. I hope you enjoy the site and will become a regular, if you are not already one. Remember you can email me directly with any stamp question you need a quick reply to. I will invariably reply same day, and usually within an hour or so.

I love to hear from other collectors about anything philatelic, not only questions, but also bits of information about collecting. Suggestions for article and blog post topics are always welcome. There is only one type of question I won’t try to answer and that is about investing in stamps. But otherwise, please don't hesitate to contact me here.

You can also contact me through the forum about anything from what to do when you inherit a stamp collection to help in identifying unusual stamps that you can’t find in a catalog. So, please feel free to post any stamp collecting question on the forum. If you post there you can expect other collectors to get involved. That always makes for good stamp talk and can lead down new paths of collecting and philatelic discovery.
