Computer stamp buying might put off some of the older collectors; it is a pretty steep learning curve for those in their late 70s and early 80s who were already throwing up their hands in the face of technological frustration at trying to program their VCRs in the 1980's. Younger generations are born into computer use and it quickly becomes second nature to buy and sell online. Younger collectors have the opportunity to add significantly to their stamp collections in this way and it won't be long before more and more of them arrive online looking for investments, just the way the oldsters have done over the years using auction catalogs. Many of these catalogs have gone from print to digital. Every year fewer are sent out to collectors, who are finding the online catalog a more efficient way to go.
