After you've dug around in the About.com Stamps archives, why not take a look at a site that gives you a quick view of everything stamps? It will give you a good idea of the breadth of items that can be collected in an easy to swallow illustrated list form. So, check out the National Postal Museum's Alphabetilately. It's a pain-free way to learn about the hobby, that doesn't feel like learning at all -- it just feels like fun.
