Spellman Museum of Stamps and Postal History Goes Green

Kudos to the Spellman Museum for keeping the family dynamic strong in their philatelic events and presentations. Serious collectors should attempt to share stamp info and stories with others, as stamps are reflections of daily life and hold ideas and messages that are not just the province of stamp collectors. (And it helps keep away that pesky lone wolf image that is so often attached to stamp collectors.)

Check out the excitement one family found on a visit to the Museum, in a Yelp review linked on the Spellman website.

So, all hail Henry Lukas, Education Director at the Spellman. And do consider paying a visit to the Weston Massachusetts philatelic mecca. Why not check out their Celebrate Earth Day event this Wednesday April 18, from 12 noon to 4pm. The day includes recycling with stamps and an exhibit of stamps featuring the environment.
